This horse feeder is designed to lessen waste. There are panels that lay over the hay and can be easily adjusted up and down controlling how much the horses have access to. They can only fit their nose through the rods — which prevents them from inhaling the dust. When they lift their heads up, the rods wipe off the excess hay which falls back in the feeder. If any hay falls on the ground you adjust the panels down, which forces them to eat what is on the ground first. The price is per one feeder available. Reference #DTCS-0021. Ships from Wisconsin.
